Racing is held together by Race officials. They play a vital role in organising and managing events. The RYA runs a range of training courses to suit individuals in various roles supporting local clubs as well as international classes on the world stage.

As with most sports, the development of officials is vital in ensuring we have an effective framework of events at all levels and in all disciplines of our activities. With Scottish officials regularly playing key roles in major national and international events, we are well placed to utilise this expertise in developing and inspiring the next generation of officials.
